An exclusive interview with one of our best salesmen- Jobed Phanord
by Grace Sailer
Jobed “Jo” Phanord, salesperson for Vivint on behalf of RHiiNO Corp, celebrates his 21st birthday this Friday. To celebrate him and his recent accomplishment of reaching #1 in sales, we gave him an exclusive interview so our followers could know all things Jo!
Jo, native to West Palm Beach, FL but now living in Tampa, started selling Vivint just recently in 2021. After graduating from Johnson and Wales University, working in Boca Raton as a waiter, and eventually getting into the real estate business, Jo made the move to sales because of “the product itself”.
“I knew it was a great product and that speaks for itself. Also, with the reputation that RHiiNO Corp had, I knew this is where I needed to be!”
Jo especially has chosen to admire the challenge that sales presents to people, “Sales isn’t for everybody, especially door-to-door. It could be very challenging. So I accepted the challenge! And it’s a skill I believe everyone should learn.”
At the end of last month, Jo was announced as number one in nationwide sales over a period of two weeks! But to Jo, this success doesn’t happen with him alone.
“If there’s anything that most attributed to my success it would be the team!”
Yet despite the value Jo has for his team, he cites his inspiration as coming from within, “A person that inspired me to become successful is me! I believe I’ve been blessed with a gift of self motivation and huge ambitions.”
Jo’s ambition is definitely not hard to come by, and it extends into his professional and personal goals. “My professional goal for the future is to eventually become an owner and be the top realtor in South Florida! My personal goals for the future is to be the best version of myself and to inspire others through my past and future actions.”
Some other fun facts about Jo:
- His calves have a reputation! “I have really big calves. Everyone in Palm Beach county knows me because of how big my legs are!”
- His favorite food is Rice and Chicken
- Three things he can’t leave the house without: A hairbrush, Chapstick, “and God!”
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Finally, Jo leaves some thoughtful advice for anyone looking to follow in his footsteps and join sales.
“embrace the good and the bad. And no matter what happens, just stay consistent. Consistency is the key to every aspect in life.”
Happy Birthday Jo, cheers to many more!
